Am I the only one that gets really competitive bidding on Villagers?

Like, especially if it's a dreamie I've been looking for for a while. I will not stop bidding on that villager no matter how many bells I have. :p

If you bid more IGB or TBT than you have, you are not really being competitive, you are just lying and making it harder for the seller and other bidders. I usually set a limit for my bids. A lot of people have cycling towns or have villagers moving out for other reasons, so I'll probably be able to find the same dreamie the next day at worst. I don't like to overpay a ton just to get my dreamie 1 day sooner.

Yeah, but I of course keep the bells I bid within what I have, but this is a lower tier villager and is kind of hard to find, so :p

[sub]^ this.

honestly if someone had started bidding on my thread and couldn't pay their due, i'd get super mad at them and ignore their bids.

apart from that, yeah i'm real competitive with bidding! if i really want a villager, either for me or for my friend, i won't stop bidding until i run out of bells, especially if no one usually has that villager in their town.[/sub]

I get competitive bidding for anything, so I avoid doing it on here. It usually ends up with me paying way more for something than what it is actually worth haha

I'm pretty competitive in games, in sports and dreamies too! I once bought out a villager just because I was in love with them (not literally) and just wanted them so badly for my town xD
