Am I just having terrible luck?

i've trying to tt blanche out for 3 days straight, and she is the only villager who hasn't tried to move out yet. i've had some try to move out at least 5 times. she's been in my town for at least 1 month prior to TTing as well and i've been raising her friendship level gradually as well (if that even has an effect on them moving). i'm guessing i'm just getting really unlucky? there's nothing that prevents villagers from moving out?

lol If you're unlucky I am too Shep and Static have been in my town for ages like a few months of TTing in game and they finally moved :/ now I have to get Lucy and Mathilda out D: its going to be ages I have the worst luck

I've read before how friendship level doesn't really affect when they move out but then I've heard otherwise. I've once had Nibbles in my town for over a month and I was really mean to her at first, I PUT SO MANY PITFALLS AROUND HER HOME but she still stayed. Then I tried being nice to her and even got 2 of her pictures, but she still stayed for another 2-3 weeks, THEN decided to move >_> Just got her out last week.

Whereas Molly.... she's tried to move at least 6 times, but I've stopped her everytime. I'm not sure if it's a matter of luck, but to me, it is. I'd say keep TT-ing... they'll move...eventually ):

This was how I felt about Drake, getting that annoying duck out took me at least 2 WEEKS . ;-;

Some of them seem to be particularly stubborn! It took me 4 in-game months to get Soleil to move. I already had her picture, so high friendship level but she just wouldn't ping. She has been living in her forever town for quite a while now and in the last 10 days she has pinged to move twice ... go figure.
Don't despair - they all ask to move eventually. Unfortunately they are not on our schedule

urgh I had that happen with Flurry, TT'd her out for more than 6 hours, was quite a few ingame months.

yeah i've probably travelled at least 3 ingame months by now, so frustrating...

I have the same problem with Tangy right now. She has been in my town for ages and is my best friend but she just wont move her tangerine butt out of my town. She pings me for a lot of random stuff but never about moving. Even my newest villagers pinged me at least a few times now... *sigh*

just an update on this... i've been keeping tally since my second day of tting on who's tried leaving:

this is getting ridiculous, how has lobo tried to leave 11 times and blanche has never said anything?

I've had Mathilda for months and months and months now, and at least Chow finally asked to leave, but Mathilda is a different story.

Curlos and Pierce constantly, constantly ping me to move. I need Chief in my town but I sorta gave up on TTing because I got annoyed. I'm just kinda done. I can't stand her and I want her out but she's not going anywhere, and I have other towns to take care of. Jfc.

I'm at least glad to know that I'm not the only one with this problem.
I have been playing since November and Kitt is the only villager in my town who quite literally never asked to move. Everyone else has at least several times.

i know the feeling, i've been kissing up to scoot so it triggers the move out message. i guess the game knows what villagers you hate and decide to make you keep them lol
