Hello folks!

After a lot of terraforming today, I decided to go relax in the museum.

And I'm sure it's changed! The fish area where there are 3 tanks flowing into each other I'm sure never used to have a background?!?

Have I really just not noticed it all this time?!

I actually noticed this too, I'm sure it never used to have a background but then suddenly I noticed one. Maybe it came with the museum upgrade im not sure

yes actually! i noticed this when i donated an oarfish to mine, cute little diving gear and a submarine model appeared by it, when it previously wasn't there.

The more you donate, the more the terrain of exhibits change.

My favorite so far is the little pond/river fish spot getting its plant life going. Second favorite is how much more greenery is in the butterfly room now.

I've also noted that the river in the insect side reflects the fish that you've donated to the fish side. While they are on exhibited in the fish section, they are also on display to a degree in the insects.

I could be wrong, but I think that background pops up once you've donated at least one fish to each of the three tanks that are in succession at the back of the first room. If I recall correctly my background filled up when I donated the sturgeon, and I had at least one fish in each of the three tanks.

But yeah, the museum seems to slowly upgrade as you fill it in! It's most noticeable in the aquarium section though.

I believe once you catch certain fish (and bugs) the exhibit will change. I'm pretty sure after you donate a golden trout the three river tanks get the cool background. I haven't kept track of which fish/bugs cause changes which I probably should have been doing but I do always check after I donate to see what, if any, changes were made.

I love going in to the museum after donating new items. The attention to detail is astounding. I love seeing all the different changes

I was surprised (and happy that the sturgeon finally got an environment) by this, too. It's like the bushes filling in at the butterfly gazebo. Nice touch.

Yep, the museum changes a lot once you start to donate all the fish and bugs. It's really cool. xD

I noticed the fish area with the clown fish, they add more decorations when you donate more. I remember in the beginning it was bare, but it gets better with more donations.
