All my villagers are in a single area as well but I mostly did it on purpose heh. Wanted a little villager square, and certain parts look alright but Diana's spot in particular feels a little ehhhh

My villagers always plot near the beach after only two or three tries at plot resetting.I guess they don't like being by themselves in the area north of the river.

I'm not on my ds right now but I have 4 villagers houses all lined up near the left coast of my town. They apparently like to move next to other villagers/mayors houses.

I have mine like a mini neighborhood in the east side of my town. It's like a little neighborhood.

Oh but that's really cute though? I love that they're all neighbours and it gives you more room in the rest of town. I wish I'd done that with mine. Mine are sort of spread out in a circle on the edge of town, all the way around. Most of their houses line up so it looks okay but I don't think I have as much room as other people do in their towns there's probably only 1 space I could put an alt characters house, if I were to add any more it would mean to have very few pwps. My town just feels so small

I just restarted my game and mine were all like that too. I've found it makes it harder to plan out pwps and such because I like to have some sort of structure first. I've got a huge empty space on the right side of my village
