I've been trying now for over 6 hours to plot Diana in line with my other villagers... And there are only 2 in line so there's a lot of spots to choose from. She has not come close even once.
HOW THE HELL do you guy smanage to align 10 villagers in a row?

I'm seriously impressed at those people who managed to get their entire village in a clean cut row in their town. I tried getting a few villagers to align their houses in a row but I gave up after too much time resetting and just settled on other locations that looked nice as well.

To each their own I suppose... Some people want what they feel is the perfect town and others can live with what they get.

I wish I could just tolerate wherever the villagers decide to plot their houses but I'm stuck having to reset until I at least am acceptable of their location. :P

If you have a lot of bells to spare, you can try to block out areas with PWPs, which does unfortunately kill the grass in the area once you demolish them. Otherwise it honestly takes an incredible amount of patience and luck :'((((

I always wonder the same thing. :/ I always manage to plot reset once or twice before just going with it (or messing up...).

I really miss the feature in WW that determined the only places your villager could set their house.... at least you could design your town layout around those spots, you knew nothing would be destroyed if you would...
I wish we had them in Nl and could destroy them and build new ones where we wanted like PWPs.

I know how you feel ;___; I just came back from school and I'm still trying to get Felicity move into a nice spot >.>
It's soooo hard ;w; seriously she's so stubborn ughhh

That was a feature? (I never played WW...) That's so awesome... It would've spared me a lot of time. I'm having to reset my map because of Apple moving right in front of the town hall. It irritates me.

Im giving up... Just gonna look for a decent spot now. I feel terrible after like 7 hours of trying, but I can't do it.

I just feel like AC is supposed to be a relaxing game and it seems to me people get way too stressed with all this resetting .. each to their own though, of course

Hours/days/weeks of plot resetting I suppose! I actually have five villager houses lined up 'accidentally' (I didn't plot reset or they placed their house like that on the first try), so I guess I've been pretty lucky there. :) They aren't evenly spaced though, which I know a lot of people try to do!

like other people have said, they just spend tons of time resetting I guess.
I mean I guess it looks nice, but the amount of time you have to spend resetting, plus the fact it looks really off if any villager ISN'T in line, I don't think it's worth trying to do it lol

I don't have all my villagers in a single line, but in a few lines instead (lines of 2 and 3 to make little neighbourhood areas). All it takes is patience and luck. Also, filling your town with PWPs character houses helps a lot. It didn't take me too long to get my houses lined up nicely thanks to that. :)

Nintendo made a flaw in the Mayor System of the game. I don't feel like a mayor at all. They should have let us choose where to put villager houses, or rotate certain PWPs. Having a town filled with houses at random places is weird. To align houses perfectly, one must have a tremendous amount of luck, or spending loads of time plot resetting.

This is ridiculous.
