Alien Swarm

Yeah I know I'm late to the party for those who already know about this game, but for those who aren't familiar with Alien Swarm, I suggest picking it up.

Alien Swarm is comparable to a "top-down" L4D-esque cooperative game. It's free on Steam and requires some decent specs to run it on full settings, but once you get it going, I have to say that it's a decent timewaster. It has 4 player co-operative online and a very easy to use map editor.

Running didn't work out the best in that run. Also didn't help we had that young'un with us.
Nice that we got it done in the end.

I really didn't expect that to happen, either time.

I've done that mission too much, and the shield bug's never given chase. I think it just didn't like you, andy.

there's only one official meant-to-pay campaign, which is sadly/admittedly short. ()

there's an "example" campaign that more or less just gives examples on how to code the custom campaigns (like doors, alien spawning, etc) but just one official right now.

no clue about custom campaigns, though.
