I think frequent time traveling can. My tree hadn't grown for months when I was tting regularly to get all my dreamies in and to rebuild all my pwps. Since I stopped, it's grown twice and is now fully grown

Excessive time traveling can also cause your town tree to lose all it's leaves and stay that way for a while.

I didn't know that. Btw. I dreamt of your town a while ago. It was real nice. I can tell you've put a lot of work into it. You should totally update your DA now that your tree is fully grown.

I plan to ^.^ I'm glad you liked it! I still have a lot to do, especially with my characters' houses and my museum rooms! I want every part of my town to eventually be decorated. I'm getting there! I'll update my dream address in the next few hours or tonight.

Thanks! I have one of each fruit tree behind my town tree! There was just enough room for all of them (besides bananas and coconuts, which are on the beach to the right of my town tree).

About the tree size and time travelling... I know that there's a certain amount of days and a certain amount of hours you must play for the tree to grow to a certain size. Animal Crossing wikia has a chart about this. Don't know if it's reliable though. I think the town tree becoming smaller or staying the same instead of growing when you TT might have something to do with the ratio between number of days played and number of hours played becoming bigger? Idk. It'd make sense because usually when we TT, we play less per in-game day while playing on many days at the same time. Or maybe this whole theory is way off. I don't really know much about this. But I guess there should be some rule to the shrinking? Some people seem to think that the shrinking is related to seasons changing. Anyone else know about this?

Anyway, what I came to say is that your tree looks amazing. I've seen some other people reach that size too in the last few days. How long have you had your town?

I've had my town for about two and a half years, and I've played more than 500 days and waaaaay more than 500 hours. I don't even want to look at my game log, I've played so much xD

Congrats on completing your town tree to its full growth! I'm planning to get my town tree to that height someday but I haven't had my town as nearly as long as yours to get it to that stage though. But I have had the game since release so I have had it for a very long time, but i've just been off and on resetting my town until now. Hopefully one day i'll reach that stage though I really like how the tree looks and the amount of shade that it provides. I think it'd be much better for my plaza as well as it looks quite empty right now.

I got the big tree too! I love it, it looks so pretty. Though I really wish it didn't lose its leaves in the winter, or at least get some decorations (imagine dozens of tiny lights on those branches ♥)

I've usually only TTd forward to catch back up to real time, but am still a ways off my trees being that size as I had such a long break from playing. But I'll get there!
