advent calanders

does anyone on here have an advent calander? i've heard that they're not as common in america than in the uk though

personally i have a picture one, a where's wally (or waldo u weirdos) one, it's cute but at 22 i am thinking it might be my last year idk, i had a chocolate one a few years ago but it was a bit gross

bless ur cotton socks, i bet ur nails looked fab! there's tons of make up ones here but they're so bloody expensive and like hell i'm paying that money and not knowing what's inside (even tho it tells u on the back but that's cheating)

yes!!! when i open a door in mine it'll say '24 days until christmas' blah blah, it's just a cute little tradition i guess, over here you wouldn't really find a kid that doesn't have one! a bit pointless now i'm older but it made me really excited as a kid!

picture ones are like gold dust these days :/ ended up paying ?6.99 for mine even though a cheapo chocolate one is a pound (i don't know why people like the good quality ones it ruins the magic)! and thank you, i definitely agree but i wanted to pretend i was mature

i miss when my parents used to buy me one they really need to sort themselves out tbh
tbh if it was an advent calander of different crisps (chips) i'd be thrilled but i'm not a huge chocolate lover!! it's good to know that other places have them though, i was worrying lol
