for hours already I am getting messages with ' maintenance will start soon' when I visit someone's island.

That's a bit weird, I've not had that issue.

So with two things going on that require you to pop balloons to acquire items, and a glitch that prevents you popping more than 300 balloons; is this some sort of April Fools joke?

Unacceptable. People are having to actually feel relieved when they're finally able to do something that they should be able to do from day one. Remind me, what was that extra development time used for again?

To make it less broken. It could’ve been even worse if it released in December 2019. Don’t get me wrong, the game still feels quite unfinished, but imagine what it would’ve been like if it released on time.

There's no need to be so snarky about it. They messed up. People make mistakes.. unfortunately, this is one that a lot of people are encountering. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

Well, then they made a lot of mistakes! Haha! ... what, not funny?

Either way, I’m sure once they get enough complaints they’ll realize their oversight and start developing a fix. I don’t think it’ll happen before Bunny Day ends, unfortunately. Then again, the duplication glitch and moving glitch both got fixed pretty fast, so who knows.
