ACNH or ACNL

I miss playing NL but NH is a lot better imo. Everything is very similar but improved so much.

As much as I loved playing New Leaf, I'm gonna go with New Horizons here. Although I really miss the furniture series from NL a lot, hope they gonna get added one day into NH.

NH - The customization alone brought this series into an entirely different arena

HHD did it better though.

New Leaf because it actually felt like an Animal Crossing game, NH is purely decorating.

I really like both for different reasons and I think it's too early to be 100% sure of what NH is like since there are probably going to be several more updates with significant content.

That said, I'd probably pick NH right now. There's a lot of tiny details that they tried to fit into NL but couldn't do it all and the Switch has really let those small details shine -- the sound design, stuff like rain drops on windows when it's raining, etc. I also love Celeste and Blathers and I think they're more interesting in NH than in NL (Celeste in NL was such a missed opportunity to do something cool).

I don’t play new leaf anymore because it looks very weird now graphic wise. Right now I’m only playing new horizon. I feel like I enjoyed playing new leaf more when I used to play it though.

ACNH because of how pretty everything looks and how much more control I have over my island's aesthetics. However, in terms of content, ACNL is still so much better. More furniture, more house upgrades, more buildings, more upgrades, etc. *BUT* I'm still going with ACNH because I'm sure they will eventually add in all the content. It just might take 3 years If by the end of the updates, the game is still missing a bunch of stuff, i"ll be incredibly disappointed..
