What happened to Animal Crossing 2 that came out in the end of 2005 (beginning of '06)? Because one in Sep. of last year people were talking about it coming out soon and then I got on in like Dec. to order it for Christmas, but I couldn't find it.

Sorry, but I just haven't heard anything else, just wanted to know what happened.

Perhaps you're talking about Animal Crossing: Wild World, which is for the DS.

yeah that is probly what they were talking about. but it would be cool if they came out with animal crossing2.

There was 'Animal Crossing +' which was basically the american version of animal crossing with a few new things... we got what would be animal crossing 1.5, and japan got the 'first' animal crossing, which was for the N64

so yeah, they kinda got animal crossing 2.

Japan had three games for our one GCN game. First was Animal Forest for the N64. Then Animal Forest + came out for the GCN, and the American verion which we know as Animal Crossing came out after. The Amercian version had a few more features than AF+. So then there was Animal Forest e+ for the GCN in Japan, which had more features, including the use of eReader cards, which our AC already had.

As everyone has said there were quite a few versions in America and Japan but by Animal crossing 2 i guess you mean Wild world!
