Do you think it will be standard items from our game catalog, with extras added each villager? Or do you think we'll need to unlock every item like in Happy Home Designer?
I think we’ll get to use the items that are already in our catalogue and then each new vacation home we do will unlocks new item sets. What i’m wondering is, if those new item sets that we get to use in HHP will be part of our island’s catalogue or if we need to buy them first from Lottie
Can't really answer that since we don't have the update yet to check it.
But I believe it will be in bells. Nintendo said that no new furniture is exclusive to HHP. Meaning, all new furniture can be obtained in the main game, so everything has a bell price tag.
That's what I've been wondering this past week. If I'm going by the trailer (when they're doing Maple's home), I think it's going to be like HHD where you start off with a small selection of items and as you create more vacation homes, the item roster grows bigger. I feel like if we had access to our own catalogue, it would make designing homes too easy. (As someone who has the entire catalogue filled, I can't see them giving me so much leeway at the beginning). Plus it would probably get confusing as you unlock items in HHP that you don't have in your regular shopping catalogue.
