The majority of people here seem to have a specific set of villagers they're fixated on finding. They need Lolly the cat, not Mitzi, even though they share 100% of the same dialogue. They need Stitches the bear, not any other Lazy villager.
I tried to come up with my ultimate villagers yesterday too, and actually stuck a list in my signature. But as I played today and talked with Egbert, I realized it was more complicated than that. I don't want to get rid of him. I just really want to eventually have both a cat villager and a dog villager in my town. Lucky would be a good fit, but that doesn't mean I absolutely need him over every other dog. Let's say I spent several more months with Moose, got his picture, and then let him move out. If Mac (the jock dog with the squished face) moved in after that, he would make me just as happy as Lucky. If Moose never moved out, but Gladys did and I found a cat villager who wasn't Stinky, I would still be excited to have an adorable cat roaming around my town.
Does anyone else have flexible, loosey-goosey preferences like this? Sorry if the above was hard to follow.
