A weird Glitch

My friend has this weird Glitch which I've never seen before, everytime she makes a new save file that villager has about 2 million bells in their bank account, does anyone know about it?

I've never heard of the game doing that before and I also googled it and couldn't find really anything about it either. When you say new save file you mean an alternate character right?

That sounds weird. I mean I know you can sell your town and catalogue if you've played for enough time and did enough stuff but that little amount sounds fishy.

Don't really know about alternate characters but.. yeah.

It's really strange and I've never heard of it either but I can guarentee that it's real, every time she makes an alternate character it's the same.

well, it’s good, right? she can keep making alternate characters, dumping their bells, and deleting them. unlimited bells!

that's what i thought lol certainly a good problem to have! When I made all my alt characters I would have loved to have starter bells upwards to 2 mil

Did your friend sell her previous town? In the latest update you could do that when starting a new town.

Is it just when she makes a new character, like a 2nd, 3rd or 4th character in an existing town? If so, I really have no idea how that is happening, but if it happens when she makes a new town / new mayor, it might be because she's selling her old town to Tom Nook.
