a very strange way to loose a villager ( ????? is this possible ????? )

nothing whatsoever in the mail of the mayor of the town she was supposed to go to

the characters from the town she left (Oishii Ai), got a letter "I moved out, so and so..."

a day further in Oishii Ai, her house is gone too, not a trace to be found of her


WOULD SHE MAYBE STILL BE IN THE VOID OF OISHII AI ???

nothing, as stated she came from one of my other towns...

BUT I do feel bad losing her, she's the only uchi I liked

I am sorry this happened, but I do have a Deidre that is leaving my second town in a few days if you are interested. Hopefully your Deidre will show up though.

I think that when a villager is moving out and another is moving in at the same time, the game can get mixed up. Sometimes invited villagers don't move in because something goes wrong but it's rare. Have you tried to TT a few days ahead to see if she shows up at all?

The game's a couple years old now though, I'm not sure if they'd release a patch this far in... then again I know squat about the technical stuff

I don't think she'll be in the void. if she is, try going to the town she was supposed to move into with the mayor of the town she moved out of. I had brought my cycling town mayor to my main town to pick up someone from my void, but instead I picked up someone from my cycling town void.

the moment she was supposed to move in, I had 8 villagers

I now have two other moved in, Coco and Cole, so I have 10 villagers again in that town...


there is nothing I can suggest, but when one is in boxes, watch out when collecting another ... beter wait until the one in boxes is actually GONE

Owhowh, that is very strange.
I did once have 9 villagers, with one in boxes and I picked up another villager from another town. I TT'd a few days ahead (with the DS clock) and started the plot reset. But never a plot showed.
But I remembered from a earlier time, that the game first needs to move someone out before it can move someone it.

So what I did was this. Let call the day my villager was in boxes and I picked a new on up day 0.
So from day 0 I went to day 1 on the normal way. Now the house of my old villager was gone, but there was no new plot from the incoming villagers.
Then I went to day 2 via the DS clock and started a new save file to start plot resetting. Now there was a plot from the incoming villager.

So the game cannot export and import a villager on the same day. I wouldn't know what happened in your game, since I read that it has already filled up and your villager is nowhere to be found... I feel sorry for you and hope it never happens again... =(

I have had one move out, two move in since than... so I'm again at 9 villagers...

5 days after the last move in, fearing Deirdre is never going to show

I'm pretty sure you can't get villagers if someome from your town is in boxes.

In the end I paid big bells to buy her... now plot resetting her into my town

but similar to me, except i eventually received the villager.


I had 9 villagers and Sylvia was moving out the next day, I asked Lolly who was camping to move in, she said okay. Next day Lolly didnt plot her house, and Sylvia was in boxes. The next next day Sylvia is gone and Lolly still didn't plot her house down as well as the next next next day too. I started thinking it was a mistake on my part, maybe I forgot to save or something.

Finally after the 4th day of agreeing to move in, she finally plot her house.
But you went 10 days...so that's crazy. o_o
