Hi, I have a few questions.

First, I somehow stumbled upon a log of my tbt activity. How much I was earning per post and such. I then saw that I spent bells on a few posts. Could someone explain to me the reason for that? They weren't photo uploads.

Second, lol how do I find the forementioned log, because I've been searching and can't seem to find it again.

Thanks for helping me better understand Bell Tree! :)

1: Have you edited your post or created a post merge? This also cost TBTB, I believe
2: Go to currency and click transactions

Editing posts does NOT cost bells. It's a recalculation.

Originally, there used to be a glitch that could easily be abused to get thousands of bells within minutes. All you had to do was go back on an old, lengthy post, and simply edit one character out, save, edit, edit the character back in, save, repeat. Each time you hit save, you would earn yourself 22 TBT bells simply for editing one letter out and then back in - this was because back then, editing posts used to calculate it as a new post entirely, and not an edit - so you were getting tbt bells for the full amount of the post, not the part you edited.

Now with the changes made to that, when you edit your post, the first strikeout ("spent") is editing the post, so you lose all your bells, then when you hit "save post" you'll re-earn your bells based on how much you edited. If you lengthened your post, then you'll earn back more bells that you originally earned from your post, due to the added length, but if you short pen your post then you will lose bells.
Basically, you only lose bells from edits if you make your post shorter than it originally was. So if you wrote a long ass reply and then edited it to say "nvm" you'd lose a lot of bells.
