I took a few pictures of spots on my island yesterday and thought I'd share them. Most of the place is still in shambles, but these areas are (beginning) to come together.
My house, which sits up on a top cliff in the northwest corner of the island. I actually picked the site from the maps the Nooklings showed before landing.
The waterfall and large pool were there already, but I made the 2nd one and connected it so it didn't look out of place. I really like the way that turned out.
I like the combination of the brick and country fence, but I'm not totally in love with the wood path. I might switch to one of the dirt ones. The part that goes down leads to the airport, the blank space is for Nook's Cranny. They were there, but pushed back. When I tried to move them with the kit, there was overlap, so I had to toss them way over to the left and redo the kit. Because, bells.
Anyway, they're moved in now. Able Sisters will go to the left of them.
On the other side of Resident Services, I'm working on an open park area, although if we get the cafe, I will probably put that over there. The museum is on the right, pushed back into the bend of the river (it runs behind this "business area"), and villagers are living on the other side of the river.
