8 Villagers in my town-- will I lose more?

Pretty much what the title says. There are 8 villagers in my town at the moment. If I tt will I lose any more?? Accidently lost a villager yesterday and want to avoid it happening. If 8 is the lowest I can go though I guess I don't have to worry so much!

No, a villager won't move out when you have eight as it's the minimum amount of villagers you can have (not counting when you start the game), but one will probably move in if you TT.

No one will move out, but you'll definitely have a move-in soon.

I believe eight is the minimum number of villagers you can have, not counting the beginning of the game. c: So no, no one else will be able to move in. However you will have a random move-in very soon! I can almost guarantee if you TT three days ahead, you will have someone new!

Someone may move in and wreck something like your path, bushes, or hybrids, but otherwise yeah no move-outs.

Don't TT too much! I think something like a week goes by and, if you don't have a ninth villager, the game will present the plot of new No. 9. (If I'm wrong, someone can correct me.)

Yeah that's correct. There's a chance each day for a new plot to appear, and after a week if you still haven't had a plot it's 100%.

your villager count will never go below 8. however when you have 8 villagers a randomly generated villager may move in. you can also invite a villager from another town or pick up voided villagers through wifi/streetpass. there is no way to avoid a game randomly generated villager though. when you have 9 villagers a villager will only move in through streetpass, wifi, or campsite. but with 8 villagers a randomly generated one may move in. you may be able to predict which personality type may move in depending on how many villager of a specific personality you have right now.
