Just checked. Apparently I've spent 945 hours on the game.
I did play a lot in the beginning. I guess I still do because I'm still addicted to taking screenshots of my islanders, but I definitely play a little less than before. Maybe an hour or two each day. For now. This might actually change into a hiatus of sorts in 10 days' time when Baldur's Gate 3 enters early access. I've been waiting for a long time for Larian's next game. Having spent 2,000+ hours on their Divinity: Original Sin 2 definitive edition, I can say I'm ready. It actually scares me how ready I am. I'll be staying up late into the early morning hours just to be able to buy, download and play BG3 when they launch it for early access. I am sooooooo ready.
1865. Switch counts the time the game is running on screensaver though, so no clue how many hours actually playing. Still a ton, no doubt. Never missed a day since starting March 26th.
I've played for 480 hours, probably closer to 490 if I add in my second character that I hardly play (no nintendo account so I can't actually see playtime).
I don't play nearly as often for a lot of reasons. I get burnt out easy, I have other stuff I want to do, art and school, but I still at least try to play every day. I have taken some breaks but for the past couple weeks I've managed to at least log on and get the bottle and a DIY from a villager every day, plus some landscaping and online play. I'm mainly just biding my time till we get more Halloween news since I wanna spookify my island.
I'm at 595 hours or more. I think perhaps close to a 100 hours of that were made a few weeks ago during vacation, when I decided it was a good time to start grinding nook miles goals. I spent several days doing not much more than playing animal crossing, going for a walk, cooking, and playing again... Another big chunk of that is from the first two months after the game came out, I remember being already at 200-300 or so hours after checking at that point.
There's definitely ups and downs in how intensively I play the game. At the beginning of a new month, I play a bit more because I want to catch all the new bugs, fish and deep sea creatures. If there's a new season I'll play a bit more to gather seasonal materials like the acorns and pinecones now, and the DIY recipes. Events also get me to play a bit more, I'm planning on completing a lot of bug-offs this Saturday because it's the last chance of the season and I don't have all rewards yet.
Once I've more or less 'completed' things, my activity drops a lot, and I'll fire up the game mostly because of meteor showers, to see the daily NPC visitor, check stock at Able's, and gift my villagers. Sometimes, I don't even bother with the gifts and play less than 10 minutes a day. That can go on for weeks until a new update comes out or the month/season changes.
310 hours. I couldn't play as much as I would have the first few months as I was busy finishing my degree... Otherwise I'm sure I would have many, many more hours
I'm currently hovering around 700 hours played. It's funny because some people I talk to are at like 150, and some of my friends at 2k+. Recently I've hit a little bit of a slump. I still check in daily but I rarely play for over an hour at a time now!
Now at 570! I've had some weeks where I'd only play 10 minutes per day to check around my island, and also times where I just couldn't put it down. I've been a little bit more active again in the last few week! I think I only actually missed a few days since launch though.
I have played around 325 hours... if only I had put those hours into work for my thesis (just kidding.. I had a burn-out at the time and wasn't able to work at all and AC helped me through the last part of that period.)
I am kind of surprised I fall on the lower end of the scale... in my mind I played a lot, though I never played whole days.
I believe I'm somewhere around 660 hours at this point, though I took a long hiatus before and during the TBT Fair (though I played some very short sessions to complete fair activities). I've been enjoying it a lot again lately, so I expect that my play hours will increase at a rapid pace again.
