5 star rating how do you do this.

I am so loving this game. I am working on my 5 star rating still. Kinda getting confused about what all you have to do for this. I keep being told decorate from sea to sea and such like that. I have placed fencing and other stuff. Anyone have any suggestions

You need to place a ton of both furniture, but not as much fencing. I just had about 100 fencing out, but on the furniture side... yeesh. One half of my island was covered! I got my 5 star rating last night and am still figuring out how so I don't have many good tips

Having a lot of flowers, trees, and shrubs help too. Shrubs count as half a tree

But, don’t overdo trees.

If you have all fruit—apple, cherry, orange, pear, and peach; along with coconut—plant them. My island fruit is the apple. With the others, I planted at least six of each. I have spare trees. So I planted eight each of cherry, orange, pear, and peach. I lost track of how many apples and coconuts I planted. Coconut trees are on the beach.

Use furniture pieces that you have to purchase with Nook Miles. Use furniture pieces like outdoor furniture you especially have to craft.

for me, i used a variety of furniture (some crafted, some not) while also using some of the nook miles items. it helps to have a good amount of trees, flowers, bushes and other stuff like that. make sure there’s nothing that’s been dropped as that’ll keep you from getting 5 stars - i believe the limit to what you can have on the ground and not have it negatively affect your rating isn15 but i’m not entirely sure. i also read somewhere that you need around 250 pieces of furniture on your island but i’m not sure how accurate that is ;u; good luck!

Make sure you don't have more than 15 dropped items on the ground, or it'll be impossible to get a 5 star rating

Just plant plenty of flowers and trees, use a fair amount of fences, and have some outdoor DIY furniture. Pick up all garbage, and most weeds and don't spam furniture in a pile. You'll get 5 star easily

I got 5 stars this week and I definitely don't have over 250 pieces of furniture out. I don't feel like my island is anywhere near complete, I just tidied up a bit and suddenly I was 5 stars. I have 3 of my villagers' gardens decorated, outside the museum and shops, and an outdoor garden centre, the rest is covered in out of control flowers!
