attention gamers,
"How do you get the backwards b"
"it's called d"
"How do you get the backwards b"
Honestly, not all of 4chan is a bad place, most of that horrible stuff you guys are describing is /b/
But yes, when anonymous people are allowed to hide behind a computer, and their posts don't have a history/don't get logged, you really do see the dark side of what people are thinking. There's stuff from rape, to illegal fetishes, guys posting pics of their ex-girlfriends naked, and facebook accounts, stolen credit card information, lots of gore, fat shaming, disrespect for women, and other stuff.
There are helpful forums like fitness, video games, anime, stuff like that too. So it's just about what you browse.
The concept of anonymous isn't always bad. Pretty sure part of them are a collective of hacktivists who threaten cyber crime to get justice from corrupt corporations and now, ISIS. It's just a mixed bag, really. I don't think people should ever do the certain things that are posted in some places of that website, but you know, maybe it's therapeutic, that a bunch of people can relate to each other and say politically incorrect things without people not giving a ****, you know?
Also there's some horrible experiments (exam:the spoon one) which harms the person who tries it horribly (search:4chan crystals experiment)Yeah, totally. It's a place where its humour relies on being offensive, and that's kinda true for me too, just not to the extent of /b/, I just don't express it here, because it's , what I would call, a family friendly website. I have a really dark humour. And that also goes for 4chan , especially /b/.
It's so wierd to think that people have sometimes confessed to crimes on 4chan, and also everything else that goes on there.
