On PC pretty much always, I enjoy having complete immersion most of the time, especially if it's a single player game. Console I tend to just play through the speakers since I don't play many console games anymore, and any I do I don't feel the need for headphones.
I generally use them with my computer so I can hear better since I'm usually using it when my dad is watching television, but I don't use it for things like my Switch or 3DS.
Absolutely! Except when I'm grinding, I put my own music so that it won't be too boring. I also don't wear them for more than an our since it can also damage your ears.
Always if I can but I don't have good enough headphones that connect to my TV, so I generally prefer handheld gaming for that reason alone. I like the privacy and sound quality from headphones.
Yeah they?re glued to my head. My old Cloud II?s mic no longer works so I use that for my 3ds/switch, and I use my new headset on my PC at all times.
But if I?m on my PC then I am either in a Discord call or team chat on Overwatch. It?s REALLY important for me to be able to hear the enemies nearby, I rely on audio the most. If I were playing Stardew Valley or something then I wouldn?t care about my headphones at all.
Depends what I'm doing. If I'm on my PC I'm typically in a call, so will wear headphones for the mic. If not in a call, I'll probably connect my speakers(unless I play an FPS, can't stand those with no headphones). If I'm on the console I exclusively use speakers, I live alone and my PS4 is connected to my TV so feels dumb to wear headphones. On 3DS I use speakers at home and headphones(or sound off really) if I'm out and about.
If I still lived at home or in a houseshare I would use them all the time though.
I honestly only use headphones when gaming if I'm listening to music, I get bored of the game audio after awhile so I just play music through my phone. Only time I have audio on is if I'm playing ACNL and I need to listen to fish, or I'm playing on PS4, even then I'm probably just using it for background noise.
i almost always use headphones if i'm not home alone. the only exception is my 3ds but that's only sometimes. when i'm home alone i go hogwild with the noise
I use HyperX Cloud headphones when gaming. They're really nice! I was using generic, cheap brands for years and now after buying these I realized how much I was missing out on. I love having a detachable headphone and the quality is just so nice.
yes i do use headphones
i mean i usually like to keep the game noise to myself, rather that put it out in the public or at home
I do use headphones on my 3ds
Sometimes for fishing and sometimes for the megaphone so the 3ds can recognize it better
I always wear headphones when I'm gaming or listening to music or watching videos in general. I don't really want anyone to hear what I'm listening to and they might get annoyed if I just played everything out loud.
