For some reason, my 3DS has been able to pick up every single Wi-Fi network except the one I need it to connect to (because we changed our Wi-Fi networks recently)... And I don't understand the reason behind it. My iPad Mini has been able to pick the Wi-Fi up and it's connected to it, but my 3DS just refuses to pick it up... And I NEED that network so I can do things in my games that require Internet again. So, my 3DS has been Internetless for almost two months... Help? Does anyone know the reason behind this and how to fix it? I've tried refreshing the networks and nothing happens...

So it has worked before i assume?

Yes, with a different network. But because some Shaw guys came in and installed a new router (or at least it looked like a router), my 3DS hasn't been able to pick up the new Wi-Fi network... :/ It's frustrating me a lot.

Then it might be the security system of the router but i am not sure on that. But what i do know is that if this is the case, there's nothing you can do about it.

Was the security type on it changed? The 3DS will only accept WEP I think it is, if it's WPA (might be the other way around), it won't work since it needs a specific number of characters to be put in on the security code entry. Also, have you tried restarting the router? From time to time, I find that my own 3DS mysteriously can't find the network it's been connected to, as does my PC (whereas every other device will be connected fine), but turning the router off and back on will often make it reappear.

Actually, you DO have that backwards. It's the WPA 2 that you want from your router in order to connect things like the 3DS to the internet. The WEP is something totally different and you do not want that. It won't work for connecting your device to the internet. :)
