I am so upset. So I line my vertical pathes with pink roses and stumps and my horizontal pathes with pink and white roses. I went to plant cedar saplings for the stumps on my vertical pathes ANNDDD...

That happened to me too u_u, I have located the invisible line that they don't grow past. It takes some trial and error to find it though. Sorry

I've faced this situation before (though not losing so many bells! eek!) It's a tough lesson to learn, but I hope that you'll be able to make a recovery from this!

As everyone has said above, if you planted them in the southern half of your town they won't grow. I'm sorry!

I'm making a tree farm in the south western part of my town and I was wondering why they died. :c
Guess my southern tree farm will be an orchard.

I'm so sorry. Truly.

Bonus tip: As a precaution I wipe out paths near trees until they have grown for one day. I've had saplings wilt being near paths.

Once they are little trees I put the paths back again.

Nooo, I had the problem in my first village, had everything else plotted and planted and left the cedar trees until last u____u

i had to learn about cedars not growing in certain areas of the town the hard way >< i planted at least twenty of them only to have to shovel them away the day prior
