300 (The graphic novel)

If you've ever seen the movie 300 (Great movie by the way), then you MUST read the graphic novel. I picked it up today, and it's great. You can read it in a short amount of time, it's not like a Dragon Ball Z or Death Note manga. The movie takes a lot from the original graphic novel. The art is amazing, as is the writing. Check it out.

I might check it out, but the thing is, the best part of the movie was the fight scenes, the gore, chopped heads, etc. and you can't really capture that in a book

Is it historically inaccurate like the movie?

Its not that inaccurate. The things that are are to enhance the movie. The story is being told by a soldier to rally troops, of course the Persians will looks like mutants, of course the other Greeks will look weak. The movie is very accurate. Even if it were, I don't watch or read things based on accuracy, I read and watch them if I like them. That doesn't mean I choose to believe it. Really Storm, come on.
