and here, I personally don't like the beatles or any old music really... but I can respect what the Beatles did for the industry and during their time were crazy hype! to compare the two is completely different, because I don't think the beatles would be as good today and Adele wouldn't be as great in their day....

I agree with you on that one, however, I'm more of the one who's into the old music, I think the music industry has /plummeted/ the past few centuries, and if you need a good example to understand my point; rap music. I'm not trying to offend anyone who may like it, but rap isn't really music. It's disgusting, what they rap about. Some rap is /tolerable/, but the stuff where they rap about sex, drugs, money, and crime, it's horrid.
