Does it have to be sixteen different villagers?
Someone moved out on accident. So now I have to move out sixteen different villagers to get them back because I don't own the card.
So from what I understand here, you can't go about swapping around the same six or more amiibo cards to count for slots?
No the amiibo cards are not connected to the 16 villager cycle, so for instance you could just have 2 cards and keep moving in and out with just those two villagers. It is however a lot harder to move villagers out that have been invited in my amiibo cards, so it's best to just get the villager card you want to keepIt's the only way to avoid the 16 villager cycle!
Oh, okay! I thought that if I kept pushing amiibo villagers out with more amiibo villagers, that would push Poncho farther and farther out of the cycle. I guess $1.95 isn't that bad. :'P

I believe you can, somebody made a thread about it on here a couple of weeks ago. It seems that each villager you scan in knocks another villager out of your void. So you should be able to just keep repeating that 16 times
If you happen to find the link to the thread, please let me know!
