SO I have a villager in my town that is finally moving! Thank goodness because he REALLY clashes with my town. I lost Diana to trying to TT out a villager to make space. I thought I had become quite good at the 4-5 day ping cycle, but had never ready anything saying if you move someone in it doesn't restart the cycle so I would still be in a move out period. She moved into my sons' town from the void after I visited there and had one of them visit me.

So, main question:
If I am able to get her into boxes in their town, and I have an open space in my town once this odd villager moves out, will I be able to invite her to live back in my town?

You have to cycle 16 villagers (move out) before you can invite her back again to your town. If you're going to do this, make a list of those villagers to keep track of the count :)

I recommend that if you have dreamies, get holders for them, and then do the 2 year 5 day method. You will have cycled 16 in a few hours, and within a few days after that you might be able to get everyone back into your town. If you don't have dreamies other than her, then just mass 2y5d until you get to 16.

Never heard of the 2 year 5 day method! I will research! Do I lose any other animals, because I have a few dreamies I'd like to keep.

I don't know which method FireNinja1 is talking about, but the method I use won't make you lose anyone by accident unless you're careless. I can post it or link you to it if you'd like? Either way, if you're going to time travel a lot to get many villagers to move, it's a good idea to get someone to hold your villagers, especially if you don't want to go through the hassle of having to check using a new character if it's any of the ones you want to keep.
