This is so nice of you! My most memorable moment on here is probably my very first interaction with another member back in 2016. I had just joined and wanted Ankha very badly for my New Leaf town. I saw a villager cycling thread announcing that Ankha was in boxes, but the seller only wanted TBT (which I didn't have any of really). I thought I'd try my luck anyway and offered IGB and some items. The seller, who is now our excellent moderator pandapples, gave her to me for free instead. I was so happy that day, and I knew I wanted to stay a part of this wonderful community.

It's hard to pick a favorite memory, there's just so many kind and generous people I've interacted with in this community.
I really love the events on this site and wish I had gotten into them sooner, the first one I participated in was the fair last year so that's got to be one of my favs. I tried to enter as many of the contests as possible and it really make me get back into my art and practice in mediums I might not have otherwise.

I only have 547 posts?? Haha why does it seem like more? I go through phases where I post a lot, but also post like nothing. :x Maybe it's all those things I think about posting but never actually do.

Anywhosy! This forum is kind of a comfort spot for me (which I think it is for a lot of people) because I joined it when I was going through a mystery illness that was just ruining my life.
During that time, I was put on a butt-load of steroids (because that's how you heal mystery illnesses??), which caused me to be awake all the time. I spent that time decorating my little NL town. And that's how I found this forum.
I was SO STOKED when I found a place that I could buy hybrid flowers and clovers just by chatting with people, it was amazing! I was so blown away by how cool and nice everyone was, especially since I personally was at such a terrible low.
I can't even explain how much it meant to have those flowers, clovers and mushrooms. I don't even care if it sounds stupid or materialistic. Having something to do at 3 in the morning when I still had work and life and this non-stop illness starting all over again 2 hours later meant everything.
Eventually, I got "better", and drifted off the forums for a while. But I did come back and it's still just such a comfortable place for me to sit and read and there have been so many times that I'm just like "dayum there are still so many nice people in this world!" because of this forum.
So that's my incredibly long-worded memory of how I wandered on to this forum two years ago lmao.

a memory that i have from this forum, when i first joined, i met yuki (RedTropicalPeachyFish) and was absolute in awe with how kind she was. i didn’t know my way around the forum at the time, and was navigating through the NL Re-tail thread to hopefully buy some items. i saw yuki’s thread and deciding to click, but had no idea what “tbt” was at the time! yuki was so kind and generous, she’d always be giving me items for free. we ended up becoming really good friends, id go to her town and she’d go mine all the time. we’d always greet each other on her thread, sometimes in PMs, and on the game and just chat away, as i was constantly buying from her, i was a regular customer and we had become close. i ended up gathering a bunch of tbt to send her way, and boy oh boy, you know yuki, she sent it back along with a good 100 tbt my way. i was in complete shock as i never had that much tbt before at the time. i sent it back to her because i couldn’t take it and we just kept sending it back and forth to each other until i, obviously won

silly yuki, even after months and months of me gaining tbt and being able to pay for everything she’d always have to throw in some free extra items! i always made sure to send tips her way, she was just a genuinely kind and giving person that always wanted to help everyone, especially those that were new! i truly miss her, it was really sad not seeing her on the forums anymore after i took a break from it. wish she’d come back! we could reminisce about the old times haha.

sorry for my long story though, didn’t even realize i wrote this much till now! you could probably tell yuki was a very dear friend of mine and i miss her, and miss those old times

I don’t have too many good memories, but I will say I’m glad to have joined this wonderful community. This place was a lot better than the previous forum I was using. The last one I was using had sooo many strict rules to it, that it sometimes, if not always, made me afraid to post on there. Just want to say too, the moderators on here are the best and run this place so smoothly. I’m glad for the events and updates and I love the collectibles too!

To enter, one of my favorite memories was receiving a Valentine's Rose from RedTropicalPeachyFish. She's a very kind and active/helpful member in Animal Crossing, so getting it from her felt really special! I also love whenever someone sends me Christmas Lights too.

I think my favorite memory of this forum is not only having had the privilege to talk to so many cool people here, but also my collectible journey. I think part of what makes this forum such a cool place is that people can interact and share their views/opinions, and I've met a lot of people on here whom I can relate to which makes me feel even a little less lonely/isolated and as for the collectible thing, well it's such a rewarding process working for something and finally getting it, even if they are ultimately just little pixel images. It's one of those things that's like that one Miley Cyrus song, "it's not about how fast you get there, it's not about what's waiting on the other side, it's the climb" (prob a cheesy reference to make lol, but I'm actually serious abt this)

I have had so many good memories here. Picking one is so tough. And so many kind members .

So many people sent me gifts during the Christmast tbt event with the sweetest messages . @LittleMissPanda has helped me out a lot, always listening to me and being super patient with me if I tell her something silly that upset me or bothered me. Hangouts in the game with @JSS @Pyoopi @NefariousKing @Mick @xara @KittenNoir and Panda of course, have really brightened my day and made me laugh a lot more than I usually do. They’ve helped me realize that I can loosen up and do silly things without worrying about annoying them or making them mad. Then there have been others including the ones I’ve named as well as @TheSillyPuppy, you, @WaileaNoRei who always check on me . I honestly could give more shoutouts tbh. One more thought goes to RedTropicalPeachyFish and @JeffreyAC. She was one of my first friends here; I miss her so much! I regret falling out of touch with my NL hiatus. Jeffrey was another member I befriended very early here
