10 villagers just isn't enough

im trying to figure who i want in my town but because the majority of villagers have super ugly houses, it makes it hard
also i have no idea about my town theme so it makes it even HARDER
i only know that i want whitney, lolly, lily, maple probably, dotty, prob beau and erik as well. mayb i should give in and get marshal.

If towns were bigger, then I'd want more than 10. But the size they are now fits 10.

YES OMG YES ten villagers is so little for all those villagers that you want but can't have ;-; dang you ten villagers! I want at least 20 at most 30 I really want so many villagers that I can't have because I like the villagers in my town and I also want those other villagers it's just like Ugh please? I'm tempted to move out some for others but that would be a hard choice for me since I love my villagers. I have seriously considered getting another copy of Animal Crossing just for that but it would be hard to maintain both! I wish it was that way though! Ugh, But I guess it would be hard to control a town with so many villagers and the place would have to be much bigger to hold them all since you need room for pwps but still I don't care about public works prodjects I really want like 20 villagers in my town! It's just not fair for only ten! Think of all the things I could have and how happy I would be HARGH so many villagers I want but can't have, its one of the drawbacks of animal crossing new leaf _cries_ I really want so many villagers in my town it's just crazy and a riot. Just -cry eww- please animal crossing let me have all the villagers I want, please.

Yeah I miss the GameCube days, 15 villagers was great, maybe we'll get more in the next game? I hope so...

At the same time, 10 can be enough because, as a town's mayor, you're tasked with delivering services to your villagers.

tbh New Leaf fails pretty hard at this imo

I get maybe one request from a villager in a day, if even that. the rest of the time they just talk to me about **** I don't care about

I completely agree. It would be nice if we had 15 villagers, because that would actually give us more to do, regarding chores. Hopefully in the Wii U and/or N3DS version, there will be an expansion due to the overall increased memory on those consoles.

funny thing is City Folk had a 10 villager limit too iirc. and that by all means should of easily been able to have 15, or even more

so I kinda wonder if its less of a power thing, and more of a Nintendo just decided 10 was a cool number (ps it isn't, esp with there now being 8 personalities)

Sometimes I think with NL it may be fine with 10, it gets a little cramped with PWPs sometimes. But yeah CF needed more, there was too much open space.

I think that 10 is plenty. I don't think that I would be able to keep up with more than that.

If the Wii U versions has 16+ I would love that, as long as they didn't ask to leave but maybe every 2 weeks or so.
