    You have to add/manipulate different layers. :) That part is kind of hard to explain.. xD

    Generally speaking for signatures, I just google "pixel landscape backgrounds" or something of that effect. :) GIMP allows you to open up .gif files (animations) and edit each frame. Honestly I'd just play around with it a little and you should be making things in no time. ^__^
