OHH! Same as me!!! To be very frank, you are doing great for someone who just started (especially with using GIMP)!!! You still need a lot of work though, but that takes a lot of experience and time. Quite honestly, you are doing better than I did when I first started with GIMP hahahaha this was one of my first avatars created when I was using crunchyroll. Awh sorry about that! I honestly pictured her hair/bang part to be thicker but I couldn't make it work (and my color decisions are usually not too great).
Out of curiosity, was her hair supposed to shorter,thicker, more auburn? Or bangs more sideswept?
