When is your villager actually in boxes?

So, I am gingerly TTing and this slipped my mind... when a villager says I am moving on the 20th, are they in boxes on the 20th? Or are they gone on the 20th and in boxes on the 19th? Thanks!

They are in boxes on the day they say they are moving. So if they say "I'll be moving on the 29th", they'll be in boxes on the 29th

If Isabelle tells you a villager is moving on the 19th, though, they will be in boxes on the 18th.
