I see so much about trading/cycling/selling villagers, and it just confuzzles me so much. How exactly do you trade them anyways? They're not actual objects so I don't see how it would work. I also really don't see the need in having certain villagers. Does it affect the game much besides just giving you different people to talk to?And what exactly is the function of cycling?
Lots of people like certain characters (including me) plus I think it's more fun to be able to befriend a villager I actually like... Peanut is my most wanted dreamie because she was the first ever villager I had when I first played animal crossing so I want her in NL too xD Oh and I suppose it does affect the game in a way seeing as certain villager personalities unlock certain PWPs (I want at least one of each personality).
To trade them you have to have 1 empty place in your town and talk to the villager that's moving out in the other town and get them to move in.
