Buy this eye dyeing kit…they said it’ll be fun, right? I forgot just how unpredictable egg dyeing can be haha. I salvaged my marble dyed egg with some spray paint instead. Here is my golden eggie! I may never get one from the hunt, so this will have to do:)

For those who are curious, here was the attempt with the cheap store egg kit. Not horrible, but definitely less creative control than I would have liked! Also didn’t help that I only had brown eggs available so the blue/green didn’t take too well:)

Here's my entry inspired by one of my kid's favorite penguin books 🐧, & influenced by my upcoming Hawaiian vacation 🏖.

(I just hand painted on a hard boiled egg with tempera paint, & used CraZsand to design the background.)

please ignore that this is lowkey ass, i haven’t painted anything since i was like 10 LOL

Here is my little egg! The flowers are meant to be sunflowers and forget me nots! Sunflowers are my favourite flower and forget me nots are my girlfriends favourite flowers 🥰
I really want this to be a collectible. I love the flowers and colors.

I tricked the bad eye, saying I wouldn't do it, and managed to decorate my egg today before the deadline! Yay! Painting eggs is definitely not my thing, I should have bought new brushes for this, (sorry for the screen) but it's still better than my first tbt egg contest when I tried to pain an uncooked egg with watercolor 😅.

At long last…Zipper is here! I’ve bedazzled the Bunny Day host with the most exceptional jewels. I sewed wire into his ears, I hand stitched his visor together, and put it on his head, just the way he likes it. I made sure that his heart fasteners on his overalls were given all of the love that he gives Bunny Day. I hand painted the backdrop on a cardboard lid with acrylic paints, and used a sheet of green felt for him to sit on. He just has one question, do you love Bunny Day as much as he does?
also sorry if my pics are ginormous

Spring has finally arrived and so has Shaymin, but be quick! Spring flowers can only distract this little cutie so long, so you better have your Poké balls ready if you want to catch them all!
My mom has already “caught” this Pokémon, even before I had taken the photos lol. I started by adding clay to the egg, and once the clay had dried, I sealed it with mod podge. I painted it with acrylic paint. Eyes and mouth were a lot of trial and error. I ended up going with gel pens which became a smudge fest when I applied mod podge layers to create depth. Next time I think I’ll try resin.

It turns out those plastic eggs that open up so you can put candy inside are NOT meant for crafting… But I bought a six-pack so guess what I’m using for the next five contests 🙃

Thank goodness for mod podge!!!

Remember Reese's eggceptional wedding shoot? Well heres a little egg to represent it!

Unfortunately, I had spent several days hand sewing her original apron with the stitching and all but my dad accidentally threw it away. 😓So this is a little rushed. Hopefully I'll set aside more time for myself to do this if it happens next year! I'm still really proud of the face and hair though. Everyone else has done incredible too!

small heads up, tho it's not something you can change up per contest rules, but I suppose you could possibly still touch it up for your own personal collection

you used と(to) and ふ(fu) for the logo text. what you wanna use is ど(do) and ぶ(bu). those tiny markings are actually very important!
