The Lunar Eclipse might have provided one night of relief, but come the following night music surrounded the ship once again. After Nicholas? death, the Captain had found the paraffin wax in the kitchen that he had been using to block his ears from the siren?s call. Tonight, most of the crew opt to go deaf.

She?d been given wax, just like the others, but Josephine chooses to toss it overboard instead. She sits on her bunk, pen in hand, scribing haikus on the wall by the light of an oil lamp. No one had ever complained about her habit.

Long after much of the crew has fallen asleep, she hears the first sound of the distant voices. She takes the lamp and finds her way out onto the deck. The beautiful song entrances her, leading her mostly on autopilot. For days now she had been longing to find the source of the magical music.

The deck is quiet and still. Several members of the crew are still awake, sprawled across the deck with drinks in hand. They?ve long past the state of being able to hold an intelligent conversation.

The sound of flapping wings is accompanied by a gust of wind. Josephine looks to her left, and sees a figure floating in the air. She blinks and it changes shape into a birdlike creature. She blinks again and she?s staring at a naked angel, floating in midair.

Josephine approaches the starboard side of the ship. The wind gets stronger and some of the other sailors begin to take notice. Their warnings fail to reach her; she?s already been enraptured by the siren?s call.

In legends, the siren?s were something to be feared - something to avoid. But anyone who has ever laid eyes upon a siren would know that there is nothing to fear. Josephine feels lighter, as if she?s walking on air, the ill feelings she expresses through her melancholic poetry just seems to fade away in a heartbeat.

She gasps as claws scratch down her arms. The wounds weep green but she feels no pain. She feels light-headed, as if she?s dreaming, and in dreams nothing can hurt you.

When the singing creature begins to float away from the ship, Josephine chances destiny and launches herself off the side of The Bellarbor. She reaches out to grasp at the hand of her love, but falls short. She lands face-first on the back of a giant turtle, her nose breaking on impact against it?s hard shell.

(1) Jeremy aka. Josephine the Poet (Vanilla Townie) fell victim to the siren's call.

You saw one, once. A siren. And it was love at first sight. You don?t know if you laid your eyes upon a man or a woman - but it doesn?t matter. From that moment on you loved them unconditionally. Love is love and you?re in love with a siren. When you close your eyes, they?re all you can think about. That honey voice plays on repeat in your head, a lullaby that whisks you away into your dream world where it?s just you and your precious siren. The siren is undeniably your muse, but ancient legends prevent you from actively searching for them. When it?s time, the siren will come to you.

You have no special abilities. Your voice and your vote are you strongest weapons. With nothing to hide, you should be leading this search.

Win Condition: Successfully eliminate all of the anti-town killing roles.

You have 24 hours to decide which of you will walk the plank.

Day 6 will end 11pm BST (6pm EDT) on Thursday 11th September.
