We all know that Pokemon Go has so many glitches and sometimes, it's so sucky to play it. But my brother doesn't seem to falter. He still enjoys playing Pokemon Go nonstop to the point that it was too dangerous for him to go alone. He would walk around the street and his university without paying any attention to his surroundings, even to the ongoing traffic. If we tell him that he's getting addicted to it, he just brushed us off. Do you have any same experience with this? How can I convince my brother that he should spend less time playing his Pokemon Go?
I'm not sure if this is a sort of psychological issue. But I believe that any form of addictive behavior should be addressed. I remember my cousin who got addicted to barbie collection when she was young. She reached the point that she's already getting some money from her parents without permission just to buy another new barbie When her parents discovered, they got worried immediately and sent her to a specialist. I just couldn't remember the whole story because it was like a decade ago already. I think she had taken some special treatments and fortunately it was addressed.
It does sound like quite a serious addiction, and video game addition is a real thing.
Personally I didn't know anyone still played Pokemon Go, but if he's having issues to the point where he might hurt himself or someone else, there needs to be some help.
