Have any of you found a way to make a villager change clothes?

I love Coco to death but her shirt is really ugly right now. What's the most efficient way to make her change? I find sending a shirt in the mail makes them display it in their home half the time, so is there a better way or am I stuck trying to do that?

1.Send it to them in the mail 24/7

2.keep the shirt you want them to wear in your invintory, pass them by, go into the ocean for a bit and come back up to pass them by again to try to get a ping

Most efficient way? Send them something they like!

Look up their favourite clothing on Thonky and mail them that. Works every time for me when they start wearing one of my hideous "pro" designs.
