N O T I C E

After flipping through a good amount of journals on here, I've decided to try my hand at keeping one for myself, as well. I love seeing all the photos people have been taking of the ongoings of their islands, and I'd love to have an actual reason to want to take photos. You know, a little motivation, hopefully. I'm gonna ultimately make this a daily checklist of sorts since I think it'll be nice to have a log of what's be happening. Unfortunately, I have been playing enough to get KK on my island, so I am going to have to guesstimate a few probable dates for the Bulletin Board, but it's no big deal.

Before Tortellini was created, I started another island that I turned away from after a little over a month. I wanted a do over, a clean slate. However, I also wanted to keep my starting date on the 20th of March, which is why my game is currently in the past. I even skipped eggmageddon (there was no way I wanted to go through with THAT scrambled disaster, again. Too much eggcitement for me, ya know), and I'm still a month behind. I've come to the decision that once I reach the IRL date, that I will no longer time travel. Until then, time travel is a probability. As you can see though, with how far back I am, I don't time travel all that often. Therefore, it will probably be a while before I reach the correct date.

» Don't mess with her, she'll confidently put you down a few pegs with a smirk on her face all the while. A tough bubblegum chewin gal who loves a good fight against those who she believes deserve a lesson. Can come off as a bit of a hothead who get's riled up too quickly since she can't stand jerks and wants to give them what for. In her down time, she likes to lean back and jam out to some smooth going music—goes great with some fries and a shake.​

» With a passion for music, he's an outgoing flatterer who has a way with working a microphone, guitar, and even the saxophone. His day, sometimes burning into night, job consists of going through and investigating various cases from smuggling to murder. In his off time, he practices with his instruments and mixing software, hoping one day to make it big in the music industry like his favourite artist, K.K. Slider.​

» Was pretty distracted with setting up this journal, so I let time get away from me and started quite late. Thankfully, I was able to run into Nook's Cranny and get the PM turnip price (95) for turnip prophet calculations as well as some actual boots from the Able Sisters. I didn't buy anything other than some wrapping paper, which sucks because the shop was closed when I checked my Miles + activities only to see that I needed to plant 5 mums to get 1000 miles for the Nature Day event.​

» Not only is it raining in real life, but it's raining in the game, too. Guess it is just a rainy day all around. Hey, I don't have water my flowers today. Not that I have many, but I do think I forgot yesterday since the new purple roses were still in the white roses patch. No matter. I moved them to their area to duplicate.​

» Sold fish to Chip. I'm too impatient to wait for him in order to sell my big money fish to him, but I did run around and fish up some to sell. Did his 3 Big-Time fish challenge, also.​

» I was quite surprised by Eugene's room. It's...a detective's office or something along those lines? You know, I always thought of him like a Fonzie guy, but maybe he's a Ford Fairlane guy, instead? I mean, there's even a koala in the movie, that's one hell of a coincidence. Hmm, maybe it's a mix of Andrew Dice Clay and Henry Winkler. I wonder if Eugene is Italian-Jewish, too. Hmm...​

» Gave Renee a jukebox to add to her 50s diner style room. I was surprized by her room, too. However, I didn't really have an expectation set for what it would look like like I had with Eugene's. Funny how Renee has close to what I thought was Eugene's aesthetic. Still, she does have a dark version of a diner, so she still has that bad girl look I was thinking about. I guess her aesthetic is a form of psychobilly.​

» The tool shelf I gave Rasher yesterday really does fill out his room well. Just like with the two above, when I first saw his room I was surprised. Still, Rasher being a mechanic of some kind also fits him just as well as him having a past of him being in a family gang. I can totally see him with grease and oil stains on him after tinkering with his car. Sadly, he has no seating in his room, might look out for something that fits someway.​

» Gave Coco a petal umbrella since it was raining and she didn't have one. She didn't use it right away even though we were standing in the rain, but mabe she will in the future? Then again, she is a gyroid and those do like rain, right? That's what NL has made me believe. Also about Coco, guess I'm being called Lollipop by her now. » Sable talked about how she misses Label, but at the same time is proud that she's moved forward to become a "big-time fashion designer".​

» I've decided to sell my turnips for 168 each. Turnip prophet predicts that there's a low change for increase with a high percent of decrease. It's a small profit, but not much. Maybe it'll be better next time. Still, with that money, I paid for the bridge connecting the main land with the museum.​

» I got a letter from Coco thanking me for giving her a gift yesterday (it was some yellow roses) and she gave me a rock guitar! I am so happy, she knows me so well.​

» Sable talked about how she and her sisters, Mabel and Label, ran a shop before this left by their parents. She says that when Label left with her friends to become a designer, Mabel and her wanted a fresh start, as well. The thought opening a shop in the island was the best decision. Sure, they miss their old store, but it's not like its gone, they can go visit any time.​

» Turnips are 104 each. Bought 2000 for 208000.​

» Coco said some red Pleather Pants would look great with my Letter Jacket. Eh...not bad.​

» Decided to redo everyone's fencing, replacing them with Hedges. Okay, so, there are 11 plots that require 25 Hedges. 11 times 25 is 275. Each craft of the DIY create 10 Hedges. Round 275 to 280. Alright, one craft needs 10 weeds, 5 tree branches, and 2 stones. Since it is 10 per 1, divide 280 by 10 for 28. 28 times 10, 5, and 2 for 280 weeds, 140 tree branches, 56 stones.​

» Also decided to buy Nintendo's online subscription so I can get designs. I got some terracotta borders for my paths. Took the time to outline all my paths.​

» Olivia gave me ome purple Cyber Shade via mail for sending her a letter yesterday.​

» Label came into town looking for a comfy style. She gave me a grey Parka. Didn't use it in my outfit since I have no simple nice pants to go with it. Sure, I have some jeans, but they're such an intense blue that I have a difficult time getting them to look nice with other things. But, whatever, I found a nice outfit that she liked that consisted of a long t-shirt used as a dress, some sandals, and a simple cap. She gave me a sweet looking Labelle Cap. It looks good. I like it.​

» Gave Rasher a Flashy Jacket and, OMG, guys, he look SO GOOD! Like, seriously. My heart! <3 I love him. Just look at this snazzy gent. Ah! I'm so happy. I really got to get on ta drawing him.​

» Deli gave me a Thief's Costume. Hmm...what'cha, or rather, the bugs trying to say? Speaking about the bugs in the walls, what the heck is with them? Her talking with them scares me.​

» A Floating-Biotope Planter was left in the lost-n-found box.​

» Gave Eugene a Detective's Coat. Eh...it's fine. Not great. He needs something more...flashy? Not as formal as Rasher, but something semi-formal with a bit of punk flare with maybe an 80s aesthetic to mix with his 50s.​

» Here's my orchard! I'm not including apples because that is my native fruit and they are found around the island. These though, these are the special fruit. Can you see that I put them in gradient order—red, coral, orange, green? Thought it'd look the best that way. Need cherries and peaches, though.​

» Here's the campsite. Forgot to take a picture of it yesterday, which is when it was put together. You like it? I think the cute ducks really add something to it. QUACK! Don't mind the flowers. I don't know what to put there. Probably will actually go with flowers, but maybe will do alternating yellow and purple roses. Or...maybe even blue if I ever get them.​

» Played with terraforming. My favourite thing is the waterfall next the the campsite. The museum area looks bland right now, but I'm gonna spruce it up once I get art and items for the outside.​

» Oh, Renee, I'm sorry for filling up the island with such jerks! Someone's always mean to someone. Renee was mean to Rasher the other day.​

» Jeez! I'm so sorry Robin! I kinda forgot you were even here. My bad. I see why I have so many jerks on the island, I'm also a jerk.​
