November 9, 2016 in the early morning, Donald was set to win presidency. Hillary, Democrats, and even Republicans across the United States were in fear of what the next four years would bring.

"Bing bing", Donald thought to himself, with a slight chuckle. Him and his family were in a fancy room with a TV, watching the election results on Fox News. He was incredibly happy with how easy he was able to take the election.
"I'm the best, really. Nobody can make America great again like I can."

Unexpectedly, a man in a black suit burst in the room and whispered a tidbit of information to Trump.

"Whaddaya mean? Someone deport this man out of our room." But it was too late. Before he could react, a unique cast of characters entered the room from the same place the man in black came from. Donald's family was escorted out and the door was locked behind him, no way out.

On the screen were instructions.

"The true president of the United States will be decided between the 17 people in this room. We are promoting selflessness in this campaign.

1) All votes for the president will be uploaded privately through the terminal in the corner. (Please PM the host to vote during Day 0.)
2) You may not vote for yourself.
3) The winner receives the unique ability to cast two votes each day. Furthermore, they will receive bodyguard(s) to protect them from assassination attempts.

You will forget who each other are shortly."

After a short amount of time had passed a bright light flashed on the screen. When the party opened their eyes, nobody recognized each other.

"Well," said Donny Trump, "How about we make America great again?"

As mayor, how do you intend to use your role? Tbh, I'd really appriciate being elected for the bullet-proofness. The two votes don't really matter except at LYLO (at which point, I'd expect any town elected official to likely be dead).
Who do you want to be President?Myself or somebody generally experienced who is likely to be nightkilled early. The most useful aspect of the President is being bullet-proof through their bodyguards.

What is your general experience with mafia, including in games with elected roles? Approaching 2.5 years of mafia experience, I've played a number of games with elected roles

As mayor, how do you intend to use your role? There's no real strategy in it besides using the double vote to lynch scummy people

Who do you want to be President? I want someone in Mid-tier to be elected, considering D0 we have no real role confirmation or leads. If we elect an overly experienced player and they end up being mafia, it would be extremely difficult to get a lynch rolling for them. If lynching is the only way to get rid of a scummy president, I want it to be someone who can be easily read.

Anywho time to get into some specifics. Hey hello, I'm Ness and most of you know me already and what not. I'm straight up going to say that I'm obviously campaigning for the presidency. Now, I will also state that I am perfectly fine with it not being me as well. I do not intend on begging for votes, but I simply ask that you consider me. I'm going to be trying to play a bit differently this game, as the last few games I've had people have pointed out that I act far too overly aggressive with most of my posts.

I would like to ask you this: Do not vote someone as president without a clear purpose in mind. When I say this, do not simply just vote someone like Dolby, glow or dad simply because they're an experienced player. I suggest waiting before you decide on who you wish to vote for, as I would rather not see someone rushed as president.

As for my RQ answers, here they are.

What is your general experience with mafia, including in games with elected roles? I am experienced in both aspects, I do well as mafia and third party, but my town skills are a little lacking in my own opinion. I don't consider myself a "godfather", but I do know how the game works.

As mayor, how do you intend to use your role? I would mostly use it for the extra vote, It would be quite handy to have it under my belt to use in an emergency situation. I've had several games where I REALLY wanted someone lynched (E.x Breath of the Wild Mafia) and was powerless due to someone not agreeing with who I thought was mafia.

Who do you want to be President? Preferably myself, but other than that I do not have a clear choice in mind. I would like to take this opportunity to say that I think it is a horrible idea to elect someone purely due to them being an experienced player. as Dolby has chosen to point out. I would much prefer someone who is a bit lesser of whats considered a godfather to get a clearer understanding of what their alignment may be. Sure, the bodyguards are surely useful but if we elect someone without much thought then we can likely elect a scum player, who can capitalize off the bodyguards and extra vote.

Also, this is just a small thought I had but I'm pinging Dolby/PunchyDaHufflepuff as a somewhat uncompatible scum team. This is mostly due to Punchy asking Dolby to make the RQS, as I see in my head that if both were scum Punchy would likely just tell Dolby to make the RQS in scum chat. Low hanging fruit, just a small little thought I had.

Don't really want to be mayor/president but if I was elected for some reason I would just appreciate the bulletproof-ness and use the double vote on whoever is most likely mafia. I would listen to other people if it were a LYLO situation because my judgement is not always right
