I have a theory about why Lazy villagers bow when you leave their house

Think about it. They're lazy. So raising their hand to wave goodbye is probably too much work for them so instead they bow.

So, what do you think of my theory?



Off topic: I'm going to be buying Amibo cards because Cranston won't move out and I need the area where his house is.
 
lol hey I can't prove you wrong ;) It's very possible! Now how to explain why normal villagers bow as well?

I mean, that's probably the case, but remember, this is a japanese game translated to english, I think that's why they bow ?ω?
 
Actually, I think it's just a reference to Wild World. In that game, when you tapped on them with the stylus, they would wave or bow depending on the villager. The same thing can be done in HHD.
 
i don't think it's just lazy, if i remember correctly coco bows when you leave as well.
 
interesting theory! although it might be a nod towards WW or japanese culture
 
I think they consider bowing their exercise for the day, lol. Maybe the motion makes room for more snacking :)
