Night 3
Everyone piled into the dank room beneath Rogueport. the CRYSTAL STAR rose up to show the team the next location. Suddenly, a huge wave of water gushed out of all the pipes, and everyone was turned into spitballs. The team came back into consciousness on a seemingly deserted island. Who did this to us? They all wondered? Snickering, three shadows rose out of the sand, ready for blood. Still weak from their excursion, they were no match for the Shadow Sisters.
Unconscious again, the team woke up in the jail of an old pirate boat to the sisters arguing about who was the prettiest. Vivian ran away leaving Beldam and Marilyn to watch over the captives. Vivian was crying in the secluded grotto when an almost magical being of bones approached her. She told Cortez her story and he became enraged. They stormed back into the boat, ?GIT OFF ME BOAT? he bellowed! Weapons and bony limbs sprung his body and sheered the two ghostly sisters and collapsed the makeshift prison. Ribbons of paper drifted in to the water around them and the team was haphazardly set free. They apologized for trespassing, to which Cortez invited them to have dinner in his anteroom: he isn?t that mean of a guy. While dining on the finest island delicacies, someone noticed a blue, shimmering treasure amongst the piles of riches. It was the CRYSTAL STAR! They asked Cortez for it, but he said only in exchange for a life. The team drew straws and Nightmares was offered as sacrifice for the prize.
