I think you got a solid point here. It feels like its a game that "starts" when it "ends". What I mean by that is that you will get to experience it when you have built a town on your island with other villagers.
Started with Cherry and Goose.
I'm neutral towards Cherry, maybe I will like her more over time.
Goose on the other hand, I really like him! Don't know why, I just love his style.
I have caught the goldfish and the one with bigeyes from my pond. Both of them, if you place them down come with a bowl which fits perfectly in to your home or in your garden.
Ah man, your pond is on the other side which sucks. I hope you get the stick to jump over to the other side soon! A goldfish is something you want to have in your museum but also in your house!
