How do you like May Day?

It was fun enough to leave me wanting more.

has the amiibo glitch been fixed?

All I can confirm is that Rocket was in boxes moving the day before the update. The morning of the update she was gone. I went to another island and adopted Judy, who was evicted via amiibo. This morning Judy is now on my island unpacking. Everything worked normally, even though Judy was an...

    Two sub-types of each personality?

Okay, this makes sense. When I first met Judy, I couldn't believe that she was the snooty personality type. She's such a different snooty than Snooty, my other snooty villager.

The official Animal Crossing: New Horizons guide revealed the relationship between Flick and C.J.

Is there anything in the text absolutely defining the characters as two males? I don't think it's a stretch to read Flick as female. Is Flick ever referred to in-game as he/him?

The official Animal Crossing: New Horizons guide revealed the relationship between Flick and C.J.

The localization team knew what they were doing. They designated them "partners" in the English language version so we could make the connotation that they are a romantic couple if we wanted. Nothing in the game guide suggests otherwise. To say roommate and business partner doesn't mean they...

So I Just Had An Idea

I have two sets of stairs leading to the private hidden beach. It definitely can be done.

I also have Hazel on my island and she gets tired of me very quickly too. I send her gifts in the mail every day, and she hasn't changed yet. She says I'm giving her a complex by giving her so much attention.

It seems like we're all having a similar experience. My interactions with my starters have been terrible. They ping once a day, never say anything interesting, and are bothered if I talk to them more than a couple of times a day. With only two starters and myself, the town feels empty and the...

What villagers do you want on your island?

Between the squirrel, sheep, octopus, and gorilla villagers, I'm sure I could populate my island twice over. I really want to get to know the newly added villagers, so I plan on taking what the game gives me before inviting all my favorites via Amiibo cards. That said, if the game doesn't give...

    Cheer up everyone!

At this point, the only thing that has me down is the fact that I still can't play it yet--even though I've been at Max Hype since the Direct.

Animal Crossing: New Horizon is not a console game!

I will agree with you in that if I had my preferences, there'd be enough animal villagers in town to fill a New York City apartment block. I love my animal neighbors--the more the merrier.

Animal Crossing: New Horizon is not a console game!

I wish my villagers would call me a filthy ogre.

Animal Crossing: New Horizon is not a console game!

It's funny, but when New Leaf came out I played knowing that come that October when Pokemon X and Y came out, I'd be ignoring my New Leaf town to explore the Kalos region. Now I have the opposite scenario--putting Pokemon aside for Animal Crossing.

Animal Crossing: New Horizon is not a console game!

Fair enough. I adore Pokemon and had a great time with Sword and Shield. If I weren't itching for New Horizons, I'd probably still be having a great time with Sword and Shield--I look forward to the upcoming expansion passes. Even though I had a lot of fun with the newest release, I think Game...

Animal Crossing: New Horizon is not a console game!

I'm amazed at the number of complaint threads that have started since the publication of reviews. 92% favorable rating average on Open Critic, with a 100% recommendation score--yet so many AC fans who haven't played the game yet are anxious and setting themselves up to be disappointed. By all...
