    What Did You Accomplish In Your Town Today?

    Wow. It's been four years (and two towns) since I last posted on TBT. Well... today in Epiphany, I achieved the silver Gardening badge, and paid off the loan on my initial basement construction.

    Which did you find more difficult to complete?

    Bugs is the biggest pain for me; I finished the fish and seafood sections with a bit of TT, which is very satisfying. However, I still haven't even SEEN a scorpion or tarantula, never mind caught one.

    I run pretty often in my town, but only on my paths. After all, I wouldn't have put down paths if I wasn't going to run. :p

    I adore streetlamps. They look great at path intersections and near bridges, they're inexpensive, and I just love lighted PWPs in general.

    Am I The Only One Who Loves Ponds?

    I have to be honest and say that I'm not fond of ponds at all. I have two in my current town, and both are thankfully out of the way. If they had been in the way, I would have reset the town in a nanosecond.

    What kind of paths do you use for your town?

    My path is a one-tile deal, that I designed myself. I lay them out in a two-tile width, and it's not a bad look. My DA is below if you'd like to take a look, but be warned; they're paths that I like. That is to say, bright colors, and really tacky-looking.

    Do you ever get sick of your town?

    I never get sick of my town per se, but looking through all the perfect dream world towns does make my town seem a bit depressing by comparison. Then, I play my town for three hours straight, do favours for all my adorable villagers, and realize that I have no reason to dislike/be sick of my town.

    Any villagers give you their pictures more than once?

    In my previous town, I received three pictures from Diva. My mayor and both alts had them displayed, because hey, free HHA points.

    What patchwork series customization option looks best in Stitches's house?

    It's great that you've made a choice. Just a suggestion that, if it seems a bit too repetitive when all in the same room, try breaking it up with a red or beige piece or two. (I haven't done much with the patchwork series, but it seems like it would be aesthetically pleasing.

    How original is your town name?

    There are only 2 other towns in the Dream Suite named Absalom, and that makes me pretty happy. The name is that of a city from a tabletop RPG called Pathfinder, and I guess not a lot of RPG geeks play Animal Crossing.

    Do you get a daily cup of coffee at the Roost Café?

    Yup. I quite enjoy the routine of getting a morning cup there. IRL I'm caffeine intolerant, so my mayor gets to enjoy one of the small pleasures that I miss. It's cute.

    Where is the best place for a nuclear silo in your town?

    Near Rodeo's house. He's a bit dense, so he wouldn't catch on. (Also, there are basically no other empty spaces in my town).

    Could your town survive without the beautiful ordinance?

    Ha ha... Nope. My town would be doomed without the Beautiful ordinance, mainly because I TT. I wish I could have Early Bird, but as long as I love having flowers, that isn't going to happen.
