So I was walking along, playing a game of Hide and Seek with Yuka when I spotted a new house plot. What I was not expecting was this:

That's right -- Marshal is coming to Biblios. Personally, I've never been much of a Marshal fangirl, but he reminds me a lot of Zero Kiryu from Vampire Knight. So I kinda get the appeal. I have a uuniversity theme going for my town, and Marshal would be like the ultimate brooding playboy.

But I kinda really had my heart set on Zell for that role. What do you guys think?

Would you go with Zell or Marshal?

i like zell personally. i like taller villagers. but if you wanted a university theme, i can see marshal fitting right in because he has the swwoopy bangs and stuff

I personally think I prefer Zell, but I've never had either in my town to be sure. But I can see Marshal working for your theme as well. The good part about having Marshal show up is that you can give me a shot for a little while and see if he works out. If you grow attached, you can keep him. If you don't feel like he's the right fit, then you can replace him with Zell.

I actually have them both in my town right now! I love them both, I can't choose. They're both very different and have qualities that I really like

^^ I missed the "brooding playboy" aspect. I would go for marshal because of his bangs and narrowing eyes. He looks more the part in my opinion

I prefer marshal, he fits more with the university theme . His house also has sloppy stuff so that suits as well.

So since it seems like Marshal would be a good fit for my town, I will give him a fair chance and see if he grows on me. If I still miss Zell later on, I can always move Marshal out and adopt Zell.

I love Zell he's awesome. But Marshal is the cutest little squirrel ever. I didn't like him at first but he really grows on you! I'd say give him a chance if you want to, he's already moving in and you can always get Zell anyway.

Gonna go with Marshal. I like Zell's color scheme alot but his eyes are kind of a turn off for me.

If you want that playboy vibe Zell is exactly that omg.
Like he could slap me and impale me with his horns calling me trash and I'd ask for more

A lot of this personal.

I have been playing ?Animal Crossing: New Leaf? since August 2013.

The No. 1 reason I have five towns in my signature, and at least five more that I have not set to a Dream Address, is to experience villagers. I don?t repeat a given villager in another town.

Marshal is in a town I have to prepare for a Dream Address.

Zell is in my third town, Foster.

They?re both superb Smug characters but, of course, Marshal is extremely popular.

The best way to decide this is to give consideration to your town. Which of the two is a better fit for the time being?

I just visited Marshal's house for the first time since he moved in and, yeah, I get it now. Marshal totally has the broke college student thing going on with the sloppy set. I still think Zell could work with the theme if I redecorated his house some.
