Welcome to Yuki Rates: DVD Section.
Recently i watch the Twilight movie, after many months of fighting with my Sister about how crappy i thought it was, being told its a movie about 'Vegetarian' Vampires seemed ridiculous and made no sense to me, also she explained very little so i thought it would be crappy.
Anyhow she put the DVD on and so i decided to watch it rather reluctantly. So what did i think?
Well it wasnt that bad, It essentially follows the tale of Bella, a young girl who leaves her mum and her new boyfriend to live with her Father, her father lives in the rainist part of the USA. (Cant remember the state lol). Anyway upon arrival she hears of strange 'animal attacks' where people have been 'eaten' and drained of blood.
Upon her first day of school she sits next to the other main character, Edward Cullen, who is seen as a nervous person who seems quirky, constantly throwing odd looks at Bella.
Bella sees this as just an odd school-friend and ignores the behavouir, untill later that day in the parking lot she looks back at him he is on the other side, as she goes to open her truck another car skids and looks to crash into her, just before it does Edward appears stopping the car with one hand and saving Bella's life.
After waking up in Hospital she remembers what happened and immediatly starts asking questions to Edward who flatly denies what happened saying it was simply a figment of her imagination what happened.
That night she 'Dreams' that Edward was at the end of her bed, staring at her, she looks away momentarily and looks back, he is gone.
Again she confronts Edward and he tells her everything, telling her how he is a 'Vegetarian' Vampire, he does still drink blood but he only drinks ANIMAL blood. He also shows her why they cannot appear in sunlight, they're skin is almost like diamond, shining magnificently in the sunlight. He tells her how he is 'The Ultimate Preditor' with huge speed, Strength and senses meaning he can take down any animal walking the earth.
As the story progresses we see the rest of the Cullen Family, consisting of a Foster Father who is a doctor, he bit the rest of the cullen family as they died in the early 1900s to keep them alive. The mother, sister and Brother.
I think this movie is alright, it definatly as re-watch value, i think its undersold if someone tells you (like most movies). I do recommend it as it is a very good film due to its storyline which is captivating and magnificent.
My rating is 8/10.
