Has anyone else played Tchia? I discovered it recently and it's absolutely gorgeous.
Basic plot is "girl wants to rescue her father". You play as the titular character and you explore the archipelago.
You get a boat and a magic ukulele. The game is based of New Caledonia, and all the characters speak French and Drehu.
