I don't have any unusual pets currently, but fennec foxes are my favorite animals and, with the proper licensing and such, you can get them as pets, so when I'm older I'll probably get one.
Not fair mang. I've been keeping a diligent eye and ear open for any one who may be peddling raccoons under the radar. They're not legal pets in Maine as far as I can tell, every one I've ever talked to who's had one tells me they are the greatest pets ever.
They can be. They can also be huge pains. They weren't exactly legal where I had them either, but they were adorable.
I also wanted a fox, however they're expensiveeeee
You're looking at a vet nightmare. They're also extremely nocturnal.
Yeah that would also be costly as well as purchasing it!
I know but so am I! Heheh
"I've got ferrets"
My latest unusual pet is the Asian Leopard Cat. She's by far the one I'm most attached with. She is really different compared to other cats - she doesn't meow but makes a distinct growl similar to that of jungle cats. Her playful attitude is very rough too, scratching and biting us. We don't mind it though, since she's still a kitty :") One day she got lost. I got really depressed at that time but I hope we can meet each other again... surely.
Omg that is adorable.
Was she a bengal or an actual asian leopard cat?
Do you have any pictures of her from before she got lost?
Well I have 2 Guinea Pigs, 4 miniature Dachshunds 2 large Aquariums with African Cichlids, 1 tank with Tropical Fish and a smaller Tank with goldfish and a baby turtleI did have a Rose Hair Tarantula until the town I live in banned the ownership of them. If we ever move to a town where they are allowed am getting another one

I have a turtle named Truffles (yes, after Truffles from AC).
I've actually owned quite a lot of unusual pets.
My first true unusual pet was the iguana. I had two, actually. I had them when I was 8 years old and they seem pretty cool. I take them out to parks and they hang around the sleeves of my shirt. As time passed by my time with them decreased and they both died alongside each other :[ They were of course still being fed and taken care of, but I think that I heard that iguanas can take their own lives delibaretly. Perhaps they were just too bored? IDK. Not only that though, one of my cat disappeared on the exact same day of their deaths. I took time off before owning any pets again after that incident.
Three years later, I suddenly became interested in arachnids. My parents own a private farm somewhere deep in the mountains and there were many kinds of spiders that I encounter there. I took some home and released them in my backyard (at least, that's what I remember). I was searching online about spiders and the like and eventually bought three tarantulas - one Acanthoscurria geniculata and two Brachypelma Smithis. After learning of my collection of tarantulas, my cousin collected many as well. In fact, it's safe to say that he is more interested in collecting those spiders than me. lol. One time one of the B. Smithis escaped out of his cage and crawled all the way to my parent's room. Luckily nothing bad really happened. The spiders are now with somebody else.

I only got 10 TBT bells from this post damn it. :{
I... I actually got a pet rock... All dressed up with a little cardbox house too.... I don't know it's because there was a contest about petting a rock and I just kind of joined and I still have it and take care of it. I think I fell in love.
If I were to own any other pets though, I'm definitely taking a horse!
