Your unusual pets?!

I want to own a tiger and escape out to sea with it on a small boat and gradually train it and become closer to it on said boat then win an oscar

I'm getting chickens soon in my back garden. Free eggs = Extra yummy. Not sure if you'd class them as 'unusual pets' or not though. It's taking a while though, because my Dad wants to build the coop instead, rather than buying one. Typical. :P

That's so cool, I'd say they're unusual! Send some eggs my way!

Well Im not sure about unusual but our dog is a little special.

She runs around with my socks and undies and delivers them to people. I like to call her the SpedEx.

AHHHH I remember I always wanted a tiger when I was younger, I mean Rajah from Aladdin was beast

I've got a ton xD Ive had snakes (3 alltogether) and a few exotic lizards. I have a bunny and a dog now, my brother has a cat:3 our house is full of animals xD

When I was younger, me and my family took care of a wild baby hare for a couple of months. We found it outside, severely injured, getting attacked by a bunch of crows and it couldn't even walk anymore. We took it to a small local Vet that agreed to patch it up, but said that it would never make it in the wild with the injuries it had at the time, and that they couldn't keep it there. So we agreed to take it in and nurse it back to good health. And we did! It got pretty tame too (Hares are normally incredibly reluctant to get too close to humans around these parts!) but of course we eventually returned it to the wild where it belongs. It was the saddest thing to release it again after I had grown so attached to it, but I'd like to think that it found another hare somewhere out there to run around and play with so it didn't have to be alone, and that it eventually started a massive hare family and lived happily ever after! It was very lucky that we found it at the exact moment that we did: A few minutes later and the mean crows might've killed it.

I always thought a capybara would be pretty awesome = w =

My pets aren't so much unusual, but they are one of a kind : ) I have a very talkative, lap-loving, fat cat and a cardboard-obsessed, lap-running, lop bunny. They are the children I will never have.

Baws, that's so sad ; ^; Awesome you fixed him all up though~ My cousin found a baby hare one time and it was the sweetest, most chillaxed little dude ever <3 Used to see a ton of them back in California. Not anymore in Maine though x(

How come the tarantulas are banned?? What do they look like? I'm terrified of spiders so God knows how I'd be with tarantulas!
I live in a small rural Township and they banned the ownership of a lot of exotic types of pets. Venomous snakes and spiders, Can't have scorpions. You cannot own any type of constrictor snakes. I know for a fact that if I ever wanted a hippo I cannot have one where I live. I mean seriously... Some of the animals on the list were far fetched but yeah. I am going to see if I can find that paper somewhere. I think there was an incident involving the escape of a large snake or something. I mean I can understand it but I was sad to have to sell my tarantula. I had it for about 2 years. I was looking into getting a Mexican Red Knee when they sent out the notice banning ownership.

Here is a picture of Chilean Rose Hair
